Supply Chain Manager - NZ
ZIWI Limited is recognised as a leading pet nutrition company and is setting the standard globally using only NZ locally sourced natural and free-range ingredients. We have a passionate and dedicated team who are incredibly proud of the products we make and love sharing them globally.
Due to internal movements, we are now seeking a commercially sharp, operationally strong Supply Chain Manager to lead our NZ export, logistics, and warehouse operations while acting as 2IC to the Head of Global Supply Chain.
You’ll lead and inspire our Export, Warehouse, and Logistics teams — building capability, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. Working across geographically dispersed teams and external partners, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Quality to ensure seamless, on-time delivery to customers around the world.
From managing order supply to balancing service levels, freight costs, inventory positioning, raw materials, and operational capacity — you’ll keep the entire supply chain engine running smoothly.
This is more than a management role — it’s an opportunity to shape how we deliver to global markets from New Zealand with excellence, resilience, and precision.
Key responsibilities:
Ownership of export, logistics, 3PL, and warehouse operations — ensuring compliant, timely, and cost-effective product movement.
Optimise inventory across raw materials and finished goods while overseeing warehousing, transport, and distribution to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Elevate performance across logistics and warehouse functions with strong cost control, service optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks — from capacity constraints and supply disruption to geopolitical and regulatory challenges.
Key Requirements:
8+ years’ experience in a Supply Chain Manager role within manufacturing, FMCG, or complex global supply chains
Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chains, with a strong focus on logistics, exports, shipping, and warehousing
Demonstrated commercial and analytical capability
Exposure to ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning tools
Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives
If you thrive in complexity, enjoy leading teams through change, and are motivated by delivering world-class export and logistics performance from New Zealand to the world — we want to hear from you.
