Shopper Marketing Manager – North America

We’re looking for a commercially driven and strategically minded Shopper Marketing Manager – North America to join our growing regional marketing team and help bring the ZIWI brand to life across the US and Canada.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing – North America, you’ll translate global brand and innovation strategies into locally relevant shopper experiences, retail activations and commercial programs that drive awareness, conversion and growth.
You’ll work across Global Marketing, Sales, Innovation and eCommerce, bringing your understanding of North American shoppers, retailers and market dynamics to ensure ZIWI’s global strategies deliver locally.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute the North American shopper marketing strategy, aligned to regional brand and commercial priorities.
Translate global brand platforms, campaigns and innovation toolkits into relevant North American activations.
Develop channel and customer-specific shopper and retail strategies in partnership with Sales and key retail partners.
Lead the shopper and retail activation component of new product launches and Go-To-Market plans.
Support integrated campaigns across retail, eCommerce, Amazon, Chewy and other shopper touchpoints.
Analyse shopper, retailer, category, competitive and sales data to identify opportunities and measure performance.
Develop clear insights, recommendations and performance reporting for the Head of Marketing and senior leadership.
Manage key projects, agencies, POP production, budgets and execution timelines.
Equip Sales and customer teams with effective tools and guidance to deliver consistent, high-quality execution.
Provide North American market and shopper insights to Global Marketing to strengthen future strategies and toolkits.
About You
You’re a commercially minded marketer who understands how shoppers make decisions and how brands win at the point of purchase. You combine strategic thinking with strong analytical, project management and execution skills.
You’ll bring:
Strong understanding of North American shopper behaviour and retail dynamics, ideally within pet or CPG.
Experience translating global or enterprise brand strategies into local market activation.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn insights into action.
Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills.
Experience working with retailers, agencies and cross-functional teams.
A proactive, collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.
The ability to move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
A genuine passion for pets and building premium brands.
Qualifications and experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
5+ years’ experience in Shopper, Trade, Customer or Brand Marketing, Commercial Execution or a related discipline.
Experience within CPG, consumer products, retail or a similar commercial environment.
Experience developing shopper activation, retail execution or commercial programs.
Experience supporting new product launches and Go-To-Market strategies.
Experience managing agencies, vendors, POP production and budgets.
Strong Excel and reporting/analytics skills; Power BI or similar preferred.
Experience with shopper, retailer, category or sales data.
Omnichannel and eCommerce experience preferred.
